Jawai, a small village situated on the Jawai River in the Pali district of Rajasthan, is most famous for its leopards and other wildlife. It is believed around 50-60 leopards live here in complete coexistence with the human population. And crocodiles and numerous bird species can be found around the Jawai Bandh Dam. Jawai Zinc Journey by the Fern, Jawai is an intimate 18-room retreat spread across 3 acres of private estate of indigenous wild land. The resort has been conceptualized so as to offer our guests with the best wildlife and wellness experiences, while keeping the local sensibilities and culture intact, capturing the local heritage, practices and culture in décor, food and other allied activities. The Rabari, a distinct local tribe, has been onboarded to provide the local flavour to the entire experience. Surrounded by the Aravalli Range, the resort is only a 3 hours’ drive from Udaipur, 6 hours from Ahmedabad, 6½ hours from Jaipur & 11 hours from Delhi. Mt Abu is 130 km from Jawai & Jodhpur 150 km, both a 2½ hours’ drive away.
