HAJI AL revered shrine of Haji Ali is one of the most renowned and iconic landmarks in Mumbai. In 2020, the monument was listed in the World Book of Records as one of the world's most visited shrines. The structure of the shrine consists of a magnificent tomb made of marble, a typical illustration of Indo-Islamic architecture adjoined by a mosque, minarets and an arch-shaped entrance. ELEPHANTA CAVES The Elephanta Caves in Mumbai is sure to be in the bucket list of every traveler for its enchanting rock-cut art and architecture from the times of medieval India. The caves are an expression of art and a number of important imageries are sculpted here which include 'Trimurti' or three-headed Shiva, 'Gangadhar' and 'Ardhnareshwar', which is a representation of Shiva and Parvat in the same body.
